Getting There
From the airport, the easiest (and cheapest) way to get to the venue is to take MARTA rail service to the Midtown N4 station. Just get on MARTA at the airport (fare is $1.75) and the ride is about 35 minutes to the Midtown station.
From the Midtown MARTA station, you can take the free Tech Trolley to the first stop (Tech Square), or you can walk a few blocks to the hotel if the Trolley isn’t available. See the walking directions here.
By car, you can Google Map it or follow the directions here. Please note that parking in the Georgia Tech Hotel deck is $5 if you purchase it in advance during registration, and $10 if you pay on the day of the event. For this reason, we highly encourage carpooling or MARTA.
Staying There
Rooms at the Georgia Tech Hotel are available only for Friday night, December 5th. Please contact Luigi Montanez, at luigi.montanez (at) gmail.com, to get into the Merb Day block at $139/night. There are no rooms available for Saturday night.
If you need a room for Saturday night, we suggest staying outside the Midtown/Downtown area, as hotels in the city will be booked due to the SEC college football championship being held the same day. If you’re flying in, there are plenty of hotels near the Atlanta airport. Those driving in can get a hotel outside the Perimeter on the road back home.
